The St. Croix Division of Student Services (DSS) reminds the public that its Christiansted office, located at 4053 LaGrande Princess, will be closed on Friday, April 26, 2024. This closure is to facilitate staff participation in the Annual Transition to Kindergarten Conference, an event of significance for parents of children slated to enter kindergarten for the 2024-2025 academic year.
The conference will take place on April 26th, from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm, at the Great Hall of the University of the Virgin Islands (UVI) St. Croix. It serves as a vital outreach initiative by DSS aimed at encouraging early registration for kindergarten. All registration on April 26th will be conducted at the conference.
DSS personnel will actively participate in the conference at UVI, offering presentations and providing assistance to parents. A display table will be set up with informative materials to aid parents in establishing their PowerSchool Parent Portal accounts and enrolling their child in kindergarten.
