Joseph Gomez Elementary to Implement Two-Week Mask Mandate
Under guidance from the Virgin Islands Department of Health, the Joseph Gomez Elementary School will implement a two-week, campus-wide mask mandate, effective Mon., Aug. 29 through Fri., Sept. 9, 2022, due to the recent rise in COVID-19 cases at the school.
All students, faculty and staff will be required to wear masks while on campus. Masks will be provided to students in need. Students are also required to wear masks while being transported on the school bus during the two-week period.
The Department of Education reminds employees and students to remain at home if experiencing any illness.
